One of my favorite things to communicate with photography is the personality and vibe that the animal I'm photographing is expressing. Sometimes these are in-between expressions that were vastly discouraged at the photography school I went to, but I've learned how to capture these expressions of animals in a humorous way.

Dogs can be a little on the wild and spunky side. Cats can be aloof and mysterious. I like to catch whatever that animal is indicating in that moment. Below are a few shots I've collected that represent a few different types of energies and vibes. Queer, rambunctious, distracted and even unreadable.
