Q: Why can't we all agree on dog training methods?

A: Trainers who preach about positive only or negative only methods, in my opinion, miss the point entirely. We need to remember that we're dealing with animals here, and animals are unpredictable.

Animals have instincts, the need to survive, and the need for family and love. how we as people go about connecting and fulfilling their needs can have many different facets. We are all on the same side. We are all trying to help people create health and balance and happiness with their dog.

The main reason I find trainers disagree on different dog training methods is that we all are always speaking from our own experience. Since every trainer has a different experience, every trainer has a different method and opinion.

If you're looking to learn from a credible, trustworthy source on the internet, make sure you do some background research on that person to ensure that they're a trustworthy source for you, rather than just going off of one article that you read with no credibility.
